Capitalizing on its November 2009 acquisition of Web application management tools developer Gomez, Compuware has debuted Gomez First Mile, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based application performance management tool that provides "visibility form the First Mile (the data center) to the Last Mile (the end user)," according to Eric Schurr, Compuware's senior VP of marketing.
